Chaithanya Farms · Bengaluru, Karnataka
Come experience Chaithanya Farms — where generations of traditional farming methods meet open fields, honest soil, and a warm welcome for every visitor.
Our Story
Chaithanya Farms was born from a deep love of the land — a family tradition passed down through three generations of farmers who believed that the earth, when treated with patience and respect, gives back abundantly.
We practice the same methods our grandparents did — heirloom seeds, natural composting, bullock-assisted tilling — not out of nostalgia, but because we know they work. Every crop we grow carries the memory of the soil it came from.
Today, we open our gates to visitors who want to reconnect with where food truly comes from — to walk the fields, learn the old ways, and leave with a little more of the earth in their hearts.
The Farm Experience
Every visit is a chance to slow down, get your hands in the soil, and discover the quiet rhythms of a working farm.
Guided walks through seasonal crops, learning how each plant is tended by hand using age-old techniques passed down through generations.
Watch and participate in heritage farming rituals — from natural composting to hand-sowing seeds the traditional way, just as our grandparents did.
Taste produce straight from the earth, prepared simply to let the natural flavors speak for themselves. Food that remembers where it came from.
Heritage Methods
At Chaithanya Farms, we practice natural pest control — using companion planting, neem-based treatments, and beneficial insects to protect our crops without a single drop of synthetic chemical. The land stays alive, and so does everything that lives on it.
We are custodians of heirloom seed preservation. Every season, we carefully select and store seeds from our strongest plants — varieties that have adapted to this exact soil and climate over decades. These seeds carry a living memory that no commercial packet can replicate.
Our fields are still turned with bullock-assisted tilling — a practice that aerates the soil gently, preserving its microbial life and structure in ways that heavy machinery simply cannot. Slow, deliberate, and deeply effective.
